Terms of Use
Last updated: 1 November 2026 · Effective: 1 November 2026
These Terms are the agreement between you and ShareRush for using the ShareRush app and the website sharerush.app. Please read them. By creating an account, or by using ShareRush or a ShareRush link, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use ShareRush.
1. About ShareRush
ShareRush lets you send files to other people by username or by private link. It is run by Bhavik Senta, an individual developer based in Bhavnagar, Gujarat, India ("ShareRush", "we", "us"). You can contact us at [email protected].
2. Who can use ShareRush
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- If you are under 18, or under the age of adulthood where you live, you may use ShareRush only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms for you and is responsible for your use.
- You may not use ShareRush if the law where you live forbids it, or if we have previously closed your account for breaking these Terms.
3. Your account
- You sign in with Google (or, on iPhone, with Apple once available). Keep that account secure. You are responsible for everything done with your ShareRush account.
- Your username must start with a letter and can use letters, numbers and underscores (3 to 20 characters). Usernames are unique and not case-sensitive.
- You must not choose a username that pretends to be another person, brand or organisation, or that is offensive or misleading. We may change or remove such a username.
- One account is for one person. Do not sell, share or transfer your account.
- Tell us straight away at [email protected] if you think someone else is using your account.
4. How the service works
- By username: the transfer goes to the Inbox of the user you choose. Only users who allow it can be found by username.
- By link: ShareRush creates a private link. Anyone who has the link can download the files until they expire or you delete them, with or without the app. You decide who you give the link to.
- Expiry: files are available for 24 hours (Free), 7 days (Plus) or 14 days (Pro) after the upload finishes, then deleted automatically.
- Monthly amount: each plan has a monthly amount you can send (5 GB Free, 100 GB Plus, 500 GB Pro). Only files you send count. Receiving does not count.
- We work to keep ShareRush available, fast and reliable, but we cannot promise it will always be available, error-free or able to deliver every file. We may change, add or remove features, and we will try to tell you in advance about important changes.
5. Your files and content
- You keep ownership of everything you send. We do not claim any rights in your files.
- You give us a limited permission to store, copy, transmit and process your files (for example to create a SHA-256 fingerprint), only as needed to deliver them to the people you choose and to run ShareRush. This permission ends when the files are deleted.
- You confirm that you have the right to send each file, and that sending it does not break any law or anyone else's rights.
- You are fully responsible for the files you send and for who you share links with.
- We do not look at your files. We may access, keep or remove a transfer only as described in section 8 and our Privacy Policy.
6. What you must not do
You must not use ShareRush to send, store or share anything that:
- belongs to another person and that you have no right to share;
- is obscene, pornographic or paedophilic, or sexually exploits or harms children in any way;
- invades someone's privacy, including their body, or shares intimate images of a person without their consent;
- is harmful to children;
- is defamatory, harassing, threatening, hateful, or encourages violence or discrimination based on religion, race, caste, gender, ethnicity or other protected traits;
- infringes any patent, trademark, copyright or other rights, including pirated films, music, software, books or games;
- deceives or misleads people about where it came from, or knowingly spreads false or misleading information;
- impersonates another person or organisation;
- threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India or any country, public order, or relations with other countries, or supports terrorism or violent extremism;
- contains viruses, malware, ransomware or any code designed to damage, disrupt or gain access to devices, systems or data;
- relates to illegal goods or services, fraud, scams, phishing or money laundering;
- breaks any law that applies to you or to the people you send to.
You also must not:
- try to get around plan limits, for example by creating many accounts;
- use bots, scripts or automated tools to use ShareRush, or scrape, copy or resell the service;
- use ShareRush as a public file host or to publish files to large audiences, for example by posting links publicly to distribute copyrighted content;
- try to access other people's accounts or files, guess links, test our security without permission, or overload or attack our systems;
- copy, change, reverse-engineer or decompile the app, except where the law allows it;
- send spam or unwanted files to other users.
Child sexual abuse material has zero tolerance. We remove it, close the account, keep what the law requires and report it to the authorities.
7. Files from other people
Files you receive come from other users, not from ShareRush. ShareRush checks that a file arrives unchanged (with its SHA-256 fingerprint), but it does not scan files for viruses or check what is inside them. Only open files from people you trust, and keep your device's security software up to date. We are not responsible for files that other people send you.
8. Reporting content and copyright
To report a link or a transfer that breaks these Terms or the law, or that infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with:
- the ShareRush link or the sender's username;
- what the problem is (and, for copyright, which work is infringed and proof that you own it or act for the owner);
- your name and contact details, and a statement that your report is accurate and made in good faith.
We review reports quickly. We may remove files, disable links, limit or close accounts, and keep information to share with authorities when the law requires it. If we act on your content, you can reply to explain, and we will look at it again. We acknowledge reports within 24 hours where the law requires and act within the time limits set by applicable law, including India's Information Technology rules. False reports made on purpose may break the law.
9. Plans, payments and subscriptions
- Free plan: no payment needed.
- Plus and Pro are paid subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. Our list prices are in US dollars (Plus $4 per month or $40 per year, Pro $10 per month or $100 per year), and Google Play or the App Store shows and charges the price in your local currency, including any taxes.
- Payments are taken by Google Play (or the Apple App Store), under their terms. We never see your card details.
- Automatic renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period and you are charged again, until you cancel.
- Changing plans: upgrading (for example Plus to Pro, or monthly to yearly) usually starts right away, and the store adjusts the price for the time left. Downgrading (Pro to Plus, or yearly to monthly) starts at your next renewal. The store shows the exact details before you confirm.
- Monthly amount: resets every month. Unused amount does not carry over, and deleting or expiring files does not give amount back.
- Price changes: if we change prices, we will tell you in advance as the store requires. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the new price applies.
- Restore purchases: you can move an active subscription to the account you are signed in to with "Restore purchases".
10. Cancellation and refunds
- Cancel anytime in the app (Profile, then Subscription & billing, then Cancel subscription) or in the Google Play Store under Subscriptions. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, then moves to Free. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Google Play (or Apple) under their refund policies. You can also write to us and we will help where we can.
- If a paid purchase is refunded after you used part of your monthly amount, your account moves to the Free plan and is marked, and paid plans are no longer available on that account. If you think this is a mistake, contact us and a person will review it.
11. Expiry, deletion and backups
- ShareRush is for sending files, not for storing them. Files are deleted for good when they expire or when the sender deletes them, and cannot be recovered.
- Always keep your own copy of anything important. We are not responsible for files that expire, are deleted, or fail to upload or download.
- Your Sent and Received history may keep file names, sizes and dates after the files are gone, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
12. Suspending or ending your account
- You can stop using ShareRush and delete your account at any time (Profile, then Delete account, or see our Delete account page).
- We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close your account if you break these Terms or the law, if your use puts other users or ShareRush at risk, or if the law requires it. Where it is safe and lawful, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.
- If we close your account for breaking these Terms, you are not entitled to a refund for the rest of your subscription period, unless the law says otherwise.
- If we ever stop offering ShareRush, we will give you reasonable notice, and you will not be charged for periods after the service ends.
- Sections 5, 7, 11 and 13 to 22 continue to apply after your account ends.
13. Our rights in ShareRush
The ShareRush name, logo, app, website, design and code belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app and website for their intended purpose under these Terms. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely, without any obligation to you.
14. Third-party services
ShareRush depends on other companies, such as Google (sign-in, notifications, Google Play), Apple, RevenueCat, Supabase and Cloudflare. Your use of Google Play, the App Store and your Google or Apple account is also covered by their own terms. We are not responsible for those services, but we choose them carefully.
15. Disclaimer
To the extent the law allows, ShareRush is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including that it will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms removes guarantees that the law of your country gives you and that cannot be excluded.
16. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows:
- we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of data, files, profits, business or goodwill;
- we are not liable for content sent by other users, or for what people do with links you share;
- our total liability to you for all claims about ShareRush is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for ShareRush in the 12 months before the claim, or US$10.
These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
17. Your responsibility to us
To the extent the law allows, you agree to protect ShareRush from claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) caused by the files you send, your breach of these Terms, or your breach of the law or anyone's rights.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Before going to court, please contact us first, and we will try to solve the problem informally within 30 days. If that does not work, the courts at Bhavnagar, Gujarat, India have jurisdiction, except where section 19 gives you the right to go to the courts of your own country.
19. Your rights as a consumer
If you use ShareRush as a consumer, you keep all the rights that the consumer laws of your country give you and that cannot be changed by contract. This includes, for example, consumers in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Australia, Brazil and India. Where those laws give you the right to bring a claim in the courts of your own country, nothing in these Terms takes that right away. Where your law gives you a right to cancel a purchase within a set time, you can use it through Google Play or the App Store, or by contacting us.
20. Apple App Store terms
If you download ShareRush from the Apple App Store: these Terms are between you and us, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. If the app fails to meet a warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any. Apple is not responsible for claims about the app, including product liability, legal compliance or intellectual property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm that you are not in a country under a United States government embargo and are not on a United States list of prohibited or restricted parties.
21. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when ShareRush changes or the law requires it. We will change the "Last updated" date at the top, and for important changes we will also tell you in the app before they take effect. If you keep using ShareRush after the changes take effect, you accept the new Terms. If you do not agree, you can stop using ShareRush and delete your account.
22. General
- These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about ShareRush.
- If any part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest stays in force.
- If we do not enforce a right straight away, we do not give it up.
- You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours, for example if ShareRush is sold, and your rights under these Terms stay the same.
- We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as internet or provider outages, natural disasters or government action.
- If these Terms are translated, the English version applies where there is a difference.
